The Jeep Compass has been redesigned for the 2011 model year. Its exterior has been updated and new optional four-wheel drive systems match the off-road capabilities of other SUVs in the Jeep lineup. Three drivetrain configurations are available: front-wheel drive, Freedom Drive I and a Freedom Drive II Off-Road Package. Freedom Drive I and II are Jeeps’ four-wheel drive systems. The main difference between the two is that Freedom Drive II is Trail Rated.
